The outlaws of Ladros
Arthad Baragund Barahir Belegund Beren Dagnir Dairuin Gildor Gorlim the Unhappy Hathaldir the Young Radhruin Ragnor Urthel
The great hero of the First Age who, with the aid of Lúthien Tinúviel and Finrod Felagund , succeeded in gaining a Silmaril from the Iron Crown of Morgoth .
Notes
1
Beren was certainly extant between 463 (when he first came across Lúthien ) and 469 (when he achieved the Quest of the Silmaril ). His date of birth is a conjecture based on these and the dates of other associated events.
2
At least, according the The Etymologies . (The History of Middle-earth Volume 5, The Lost Road and Other Writings III The Etymologies ).
