About the FAQ

This FAQ is designed to answer some of the more common questions we are asked about Tolkien and his work, or The Encyclopedia of Arda itself. Please be sure and check the list of questions shown here before you send us e-mail - there's a strong chance you'll find the answer to your question somewhere here.

Note that this is a fluid section of the site: common questions are being added all the time, and information is also sometimes removed when the relevant entries are updated within the Encyclopedia itself.
