Grey HavensThe havens at the mouth of the Lhûn
The road shown here running eastward from the Grey Havens is documented (it was the same road that ran through the Shire and on across Eriador to Rivendell). However, west of Michel Delving, its exact course is unknown, and so the road marked on this map is somewhat speculative.
Mithlond, the harbours of Círdan at the eastern end of the Gulf of Lhûn, from which the Elves of the north of Middle-earth passed into the West during the later Ages.
