Gorbadoc Brandybuck was a descendant of Gormadoc the Deepdelver, and Master of Brandy Hall. He had seven children, of which his daughter Asphodel was the fifth. She married Rufus Burrows, and had a son, Milo. She was also the elder sister of Primula Brandybuck, who was the mother of Frodo Baggins, and so Asphodel was one of Frodo's three aunts (alongside Amaranth and Dora).
