Notes	A loose open star cluster in the southern parts of Vela. The cluster takes its name from Omicron Velorum, the brightest of its members, but it contains several other stars at, or close to, naked eye visibility. The cluster is spread over an area of the sky nearly twice the diameter of the Moon's disc.
