A name for the Valar, the powerful and ancient beings that ruled the land of Valinor in the West of the World. This is a rare term, and as such its exact application is uncertain. Despite the use of the masculine form ('Lords'), it nonetheless appears to be a reference to all the Valar (including the seven Valier or Queens).
