Sham
Alpha Sagittae, 5 Sagittae
| Though it appears rather dim from the Earth (magnitude +4.4), Sham is in fact a
hot supergiant star, but lying some 500 light years from our Solar System.
The Galactic position and direction of Sham relative to Earth's Sun. Note that, at this
extreme scale, the two stars are effectively in the same place.
