The line of the Ecliptic passes through the eastern parts of Aquarius, and so the Sun's apparent motion as seen from Earth carries it through this constellation every year. On 15 February the Sun enters Aquarius from neighbouring Capricornus, and twenty-five days later it moves on eastward into Pisces.
