Perseus Arm
A spiral arm of our own Milky Way Galaxy. The Perseus Arm spirals out from the central regions of the Galaxy, but becomes rather denser and more clearly defined as it approaches the Galaxy's edge. At its farthest from the Galactic Nucleus, the Perseus Arm runs parallel to our own Orion Arm, and comes within less than 10,000 light years of the Sun.
