Celestial Meridian
Zero Hours Right Ascension
An imaginary line connecting the Celestial Poles and passing through the First Point of Aries. When measuring Right Ascension on the Celestial Sphere, this line defines the zero point, much as the Greenwich Meridian does when measuring longitude on Earth.
