IC 354 is an extremely tenuous nebula, and very difficult to distinguish in visible light. This infrared image, however, shows the cloud structure more distinctly, drifting eastward and southward from the Pleiades (which are represented by the bright zone to the northwest of this image). Imagery provided by Aladin sky atlas
