The Fish Head Nebula, NGC 896, is a star-forming region that belongs to a broad complex of nebulae in eastern Cassiopeia. The Fish Head extends out northwestward from the larger Heart Nebula (IC 1805), which in turn is part of a pair of nebulae collectively known as the 'Heart and Soul'.
