NotesThis moon of Jupiter is not to be confused with a main belt asteroid of the same name, designated 38 Leda. The moon Leda is only about a fifth of the diameter of its namesake asteroid, orbiting Jupiter beyond the four prominent Galilean moons of that giant planet.

A small moon of Jupiter, the ninth from the planet in order. It has a diameter of about twenty-one kilometres, and orbits Jupiter at a distance of over eleven million kilometres, making it one of that world's closest moons beyond the major Galilean satellites.
