NotesIn terms both of area and number of members, the Orion Family is the smallest of the eight constellation families. Though it consists of just five constellations, it is nonetheless among the most prominent of the families, containing not only the distinctively recognisable shape of Orion, but also brilliant Sirius in neighbouring Canis Major.
