This third planet of the 47 Ursae Majoris (or Chalawan) system was discovered some years after the previous two (and hence those two earlier discoveries have been given their own names, while Chalawan d has not). This planet follows an orbit around Chalawan at a much greater distance than the two other planets in the system.
