Marigold Gamgee

The youngest sister of Sam Gamgee

Youngest child of Hamfast Gamgee and Bell Goodchild; a sister of Samwise Gamgee of the Company of the Ring.

By the closing years of the Third Age, the three divisions of Hobbit-kind were not generally distinguishable within the Shire, but among the ancestors of the Gamgees were at least some Fallohides. From this line of descent came Marigold's golden hair, from which in turn she took her name.
