The Drúadan Forest

The Elvish name for the Drúadan Forest, the wide woodland of Anórien that spread out from the northern slopes of the White Mountains, and surrounded the Beacon-hill of Eilenach. Within the forest lived a remnant of the race of Men known as the Drúedain, from whom it took its name.
