Lord of the Rohirrim

A title for the King of Rohan

An occasional term used for the lord of the Riders of Rohan, who lived in alliance with Gondor on its northern borders. The title is a simple equivalent to 'King of Rohan' or 'Lord of the Mark', and was used for Eorl and his descendants at least until the time of Théoden.
