V1722 Orionis shines out dimly against a whorl of dark material on the southern edges of the Running Man Nebula in Orion. This is a T Tauristar, a young star still in the later stages of its formation, emerging out of the gases of the surrounding nebula. Imagery provided by Aladin sky atlas
