The range of hills that marked a steep fall in the height of the land of Beleriand, more usually called by its Elvish name, the Andram. Its western end was in the hills east of Nargothrond and from there it ran far into East Beleriand, where it ended at the hills of Ramdal, 'Wall's End'.
