An Elvish term given in affectionate respect. It is a diminutive form for heri, meaning 'lady', and would be used, for example, by a trusted servant of a noble child. In the tale of Aldarion and Erendis, the country woman Zamîn uses the title hérinkë to refer to Ancalimë, a direct descendant of the royal line.
