Amaranth Brandybuck

A sister of Old Rory

The second child, and eldest daughter, of Gorbadoc 'Broadbelt' Brandybuck. She was thus the younger sister of Gorbadoc's son Rorimac, who was Master of Buckland at the time of Bilbo's famous Birthday Party. Amaranth, though, did not live to see the party: she had died just three years before, at the age of ninety-four.
