Mare Nubium
Sea of Clouds
A approximately circular lunar sea, covering a quarter of a million square kilometres of the Moon's surface. Its most prominent feature is deep crater near its western rim, Bullialdus. To the east and south of the Sea of Clouds are some of the densest crater fields on the Moon's visible face, while to the west lies another, lesser lunar sea: Mare Humorum, the Sea of Moisture.
