Muphrid lies close to Arcturus not only in the skies of Earth, but also in reality: Muphrid and Arcturus lie less than four light years from one another, closer than the Sun and Alpha Centauri. There are indications that Muphrid may be a binarystar, with a small reddwarf companion.
