Alpha Microscopii
A yellow giant in the faint constellation of Microscopium. Its considerable distance from the Solar System, nearly 400 light years, makes it appear as faint as the other stars in this inconspicuous group.

Relative Galactic Position of Alpha Microscopii
The Galactic position and direction of Alpha Microscopii relative to Earth's Sun. Note that, at this extreme scale, the two stars are effectively in the same place.
