67 Ophiuchi
A massive and highly luminous blue supergiant star, 67 Ophiuchi is also extremely distant from Earth, at more than 1,400 light years. Nonetheless, it is quite visible to the naked eye, shining in the depths of the Milky Way. It lies in the constellation Ophiuchus, the Serpent Holder, near the Tail of the Serpent itself.
