Notes	This orange giant star lies near the tip of Hydra's tail in the sky, as it snakes eastward towards brilliant Antares in Scorpius. 50 Hydrae emits some 35 times more light than the Sun, but at a distance of more than 200 light years it is barely visible to the naked eye.
