Note	A diffuse and asymmetrical spiral galaxy, the spiral pattern of C62 is rather indistinct. The galaxy forms a part of the Sculptor Group, and is gravitationally bound to the more massive Sculptor Galaxy (C66 or NGC 253) which lies nearby to the south, as seen from Earth.
