The name of a family of Hobbits of the Shire, of which the only known member is Daddy Twofoot of Bagshot Row in Hobbiton. The origins of the family's name are unclear: it may simply mean 'having two feet'. Alternatively, it seems at least as likely that it referred to the short stature of the family's members (the shortest Hobbits were approximately two feet high).
