Trewsday

The fourth day of the Shire-week

Days of the week

One of the seven days that made up the week in the Shire, at the end of the Third Age. It came fourth in order, falling between Monday and Hevensday, and is comparable with modern 'Tuesday'. In origin it came ultimately from the equivalent day in the Elvish week, which was named Aldúya or Orgaladhad in honour of the Two Trees of Valinor.
