NínuiThe second month of the yearThe name given by the Dúnedain to the second month of the year. The word Nínui comes from the Sindarin language, and its Quenya equivalent is Nénimë. Both words seem to be related to the Elvish stem-word 'nen', relating to water and wetness - presumably a reference to the late winter rains and their results.
