Mrs. Maggot

The wife of Farmer Maggot of Bamfurlong in the Marish. She is never named beyond her married title of 'Mrs. Maggot', so we know almost nothing of her history or her original family. She does seem to have been married to Farmer Maggot for some considerable time (from her gift of mushrooms to Frodo, she apparently remembered him as a child, which would have been several decades earlier). The Maggots had at least six children: three (and possibly more) sons and three daughters.
