Notes

1

We have no specific reference to narrow down the location of Lórien more closely within Valinor. However, it seems to have been easily accessible by the Valar and Eldar alike, and one inconclusive comment - a reference to Tilion going there because of his love of Telperion's silver light - seems to imply that it lay close to the Two Trees. These hints collectively suggest that it was in the eastern parts of Valinor, not far from Valmar, but none of them are definitive.
