The Seven Rivers of Ossir

The third of Gelion's six tributary rivers, that like the others rose among the western slopes of the Blue Mountains. It flowed west through Ossiriand between the Thalos to the north and the Brilthor to the south. Its name Legolin means 'free-running'.


Notes

The similarity of this river's name to that of Legolas the Elf is immediately apparent, but coincidental. Legolas' name means 'green leaf', and comes from quite different Elvish origins.
