Hugo Bracegirdle

An acquaintance of Bilbo Baggins, who was among the recipients of special gifts after Bilbo's Farewell Party. He was noted for borrowing books, but not for returning them, and Bilbo recognised this in his choice of gift: an empty bookcase. It seems clear that Hugo was related to Lobelia Sackville-Baggins in some way (Lobelia's maiden name had been Bracegirdle) but the details of this relationship are nowhere recorded.
