Chamber of Records

The Chamber of Mazarbul in Khazad-dûm

The Chamber of Mazarbul in old Khazad-dûm, its hall of records; a large, square chamber lit by a single shaft of light from the open air. When Balin led an attempt to recolonise Moria, he chose this place as his seat, but it became his tomb.
