Anson Roper

The son of Sam's Uncle Andy

The son of Andwise Roper (that is, the 'Uncle Andy' that Samwise refers to in The Lord of the Rings). We know almost nothing of Anson's life, but if he followed in his father's footsteps, he would have lived in the village of Tighfield, and continued the tradition of rope-making that gave his family its name.
