Herugar Bolger

The only son of Rudigar Bolger and Belba Baggins, Herugar was born in the Shire some five years after Bilbo Baggins. He married Jessamine Boffin, a granddaughter of the Old Took, and had a single son of his own, named Odovacar. Herugar was the grandfather of two characters who had some significance to the members of the Fellowship of the Ring: Fredegar Bolger acted as a decoy for Frodo after he left the Shire, while Estella Bolger later became the wife of Meriadoc Brandybuck.
