AstaldoThe surname of TulkasA title given to the Vala Tulkas. The last of the Valar to enter Arda, he came to the aid of the other Powers in their battles against Melkor. He was said to be greatest of all the Valar in feats of strength, and was tireless in battle, hence his name Astaldo which means 'the Valiant'.
